Everything At Once – As sly as a fox, as strong as an ox
As fast as a hare, as brave as a bear
As free as a bird, as neat as a word
As quiet as a mouse, as big as a house
All
I wanna be
All
I wanna be
Oh-oh-oh, all
I wanna be
Is everything
As mean as a wolf, as sharp as a tooth
As deep as a bite, as dark as the night
As sweet as a song, as right as a wrong
As long as a road, as ugly as a toad
As pretty as a picture hanging from a fixture
Strong like a family, strong as I wanna be
Bright as day, as light as play
As hard as nails, as grand as a whale
All
I wanna be
Oh-oh-oh, all
I wanna be
Oh-oh-oh, all
I wanna be
Is everything
Everything at once
Everything at once
Oh-oh-oh, everything at once
As warm as the sun, as silly as fun
As cool as a tree, as scary as the sea
As hot as fire, cold as ice
Sweet as sugar and everything nice
As old as time, as straight as a line
As royal as a queen, as buzzed as a bee
As stealth as a tiger, smooth as a glider
Pure as a melody, pure as I wanna be
All
I wanna be
Oh-oh-oh, all
I wanna be
Oh-oh-oh, all
I wanna be
Is everything
Everything at once
About Lenka
As a result of the success of “The Show”, the lead single from Lenka’s debut album, it reached the Top 40 in several countries, including the UK, Switzerland, and Poland (where it rose to the top spot). As a result, Lenka got engaged to James Gulliver Hancock, the visual artist behind several of her music videos, and spent the majority of her following year touring the world with James Gulliver Hancock. She used the engagement as a major inspiration when crafting the second album she released in 2011, called Two, a collection of pop tunes and winsome love songs. A year before the birth of her first child, Lenka responded with an orchestral pop album called Shadows (Skipalong Records) inspired by the event. Attune, the singer’s fifth album arrived in 2017, just a year after the release of her fourth album, The Bright Side, which featured the single “Blue Skies”. This was the singer’s fourth time releasing an album since 2011. The album Attune was self-produced and had a more organic feel than its predecessors. It had a track called “Heal,” which was written with fellow Australian singer/songwriter Sally Seltmann, and a couple of others.
While working for Australia’s Decoder Ring as a vocalist and keyboard player, songwriter Lenka Kripac moved to Los Angeles and began creating eclectic, atmospheric pop music. There is no denying that Lenka’s solo material is influenced by artists like Jem and Björk, combining breathy vocals with blasts of electronic drumbeats, horns, and twinkling piano in an engaging and powerful fashion. She was an actress who worked under Cate Blanchett as a child actor, and she also brought the theatricality of the movies to her music, and in late 2007, Epic Records took her on board as a member of its roster. It was a trip to New York for Lenka when she recorded her debut album in Woodstock, New York, with musicians such as Howie Day and Missy Higgins making cameo appearances in between sessions. When she moved to Los Angeles, she played numerous shows at the intimate Hotel Café before the release of her self-titled album, Lenka, in September 2008, which found her connecting with audiences all over the world.
